Join us for an extraordinary Niagara running experience!
In 2026, all race events will take place entirely within Canada. The 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon will all start along Fallsview Boulevard before heading down Murray Street, passing the Skylon Tower, and continuing directly toward Niagara Falls.
Date: Sunday, October 25, 2026
Tentative Start: 8:15am - Start line is on Fallsview Blvd, between Murray St and Robinson St.
Course Closes: The first 3.5km of the course must be completed by 9:00am. This restriction is in place to ensure that local tourist attractions and traffic can flow through, as this is a high-volume area. This gives Half-Marathon and Marathon runners 45 minutes to reach this checkpoint and will be strictly enforced. The course closes at 3:00pm.
Awards: Awards will be given to the top 3 males and females overall for each distance, along with the 1st place age group winner, in 5-year age groups. Once results are finalized for each race, awards ceremonies will take place on site.
Qualifier: The Niagara Falls Marathon is a qualifying event for the Boston Marathon.
What You Get: Technical race T-Shirt, finishers medal, official timing, post-race food, baggage check and more!
Runners will see—and hear—the thunderous roar of the American Falls straight ahead before turning right onto the Niagara Parkway, where the iconic Horseshoe Falls will come into full view. This section of the course offers some of the most breathtaking scenery found on any racecourse in the world.
From there, the route follows the Niagara Parkway past Rapidsview Park, through Kingsbridge, and over the bridge in Chippawa. Each race distance will turn around along the flat, scenic Niagara Parkway, running directly beside the Niagara River. The finish line for all races will now be located on Stanley Avenue, directly in front of the Niagara Falls Convention Centre.
13 hits minimum, water/Gatorade at all stations, nutrition at about 10km, 20km and 31km. Stations approximately 3km apart.
