Medals are presented to all finishers in every event. Individual medal shown below; relay medals at right. Click images to see detailed view (PDF).
Your hard work is done — now it is time to celebrate your achievement and personalize your Niagara Falls International Marathon event Finisher Medal with an iTaB. The iTaB is a small plate engraved with your Name, Place [optional] and Finish Time which fits neatly in to the back of the medal; simply click here to confirm your details and your iTaB will be engraved and sent to you for just $9.00.
Age Group Divisions
Marathon Divisions
Commemorative awards will be awarded 3 deep to males and females in the following divisions: 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
Please note that awards must be picked up at the finish line; awards will not be mailed.
1812 Peace and Friendship Marathon Relay Division
Commemorative awards will be awarded 3 deep to the following divisions: Men's Team, Women's Team, Mixed Team.
Complete both portions of the marathon course back to back and receive an additional medal recognizing your achievement.
Please note that awards must be picked up at the finish line; awards will not be mailed.
Half Marathon Run Divisions
Commemorative awards will be awarded 3 deep to males and females in the following divisions: 15 & under, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
Please note that awards must be picked up at the finish line; awards will not be mailed.
Half Marathon Walk Divisions
Due to this division not being monitored by marshals to prevent walkers from running, there are no awards in this division.
10km Run Divisions
Commemorative awards will be awarded 3 deep to males and females in the following divisions: 15 & under, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.

5km Run Divisions

Note: Cash winners will not be eligible for age group awards. Masters are eligible for both overall and masters cash prizes.
Elite Athletes
Invitations for elite status is based on recent performances in Canada, US and international competition.
To qualify for Elite status you must have run a documented race no earlier than January 2008 that is faster than the following (Gun Time).

Elite Status receives complimentary entry, accommodations and front line access.
